Me: In the bathroom taking a minute for myself to go to the bathroom.
*Knock, knock, knock*
Lily: (On hands and knees with face and mouth pressed up against crack under door.) "Mom, are you okay in there?"
Me: "Yes, I'm fine! Go play!"
Lily: "Just be careful in there okay!"
Me: "Yes, Lily, thank you!"
Lily: "Just go potty. You can read my books on the toilet."
Me: (slightly annoyed) "Okay, thank you! Go play, now!"
Lily: "Make sure you wipe yourself with the toilet paper and wash your hands!"
Me: "Yes, Lily, thank you for reminding me!"
Lily: "Do you need some help in there?"
Me: (ugh, sigh!) "No, thank you, I am fine! Can you please leave me alone now!"
Lily: "Okay, just be careful and make sure you wash your hands and flush the toilet!"
Me: "OKAY!"
Lily: (Heavy breathing under door. Fingers poking under door.)
Me: (Done with my sole moment of alone time)
Seriously now, am I that annoying when SHE is using that bathroom?

Did You Eat the Chocolate Donuts?
I made some chocolate twisty donuts before lunch to have for an afternoon snack today. During naptime/quiet time, I set Lily up with a movie in her room. After a little time had passed, I went into the kitchen to get a drink and noticed two of the donuts missing from the cookie sheet. I immediately knew exactly who to inquire to about the missing treats. . . who was the cuplrit?
Not this little chocolate faced angel, according to herself.
kids. . .where do they learn to lie and deny? Even when the evidence is so clear! She is such a stinker!

Welcome Little Nataleigh!
My sister Melinda welcomed her first child, a sweet baby girl, into the world last night! Nataleigh Marie Diane was born September 2nd at 11:28pm. She weighed in at a tiny 6lbs 5oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She is so adorable and so much fun to hold! Melinda had a tough delivery, but she did such a great job! Congrats Melinda! We love you and are so excited to watch Nataleigh grow!
