Ballet Class Superstar!

The girls absolutely LOVE ballet! I am so excited about this! They enjoy going every week and are constantly talking about and practicing the steps they learn in class. These pictures are from the 2nd class they attended. Unfortunately, Alexandria decided she was not going to participate this day , so all of the pictures are of Lily, save the picture of her (Alex) attitude self in the car on the way to ballet. (I am sad to say I am not able to observe the girls' ballet class because if I am there, Alex clings to my side and does not participate, but if I leave, their teacher Miss Rachel says she does great! :( Stink head)

Alex all pretty and ready to go, but unfortunately not ready to dance.
Lily is super excited!
She tries so hard to follow instruction!

Unfortunately, she is not the most coordinated kiddo, but she works hard. . .
and always does her BEST!
Notice how Lily is the ONLY little girl dressed in blue. I like how I can spot her so easily! For a Princess who won't chose anything PINK, I was absolutely SHOCKED when we came out of the store with this blue leo/tutu. (For the record, though, the initial tutu she wanted was PINK, but it was a bazillion dollars, so I told her she had to choose another one. There were other pink ones, but she chose blue.)

Getting ready to do some stretches.
Waiting her turn to do some turns.
(That little girl in the black/silver outfit with the crazy see thru skirt, I don't know WHAT she was wearing! LOL! She is not normally in Lily's class.)

Doing her "turn and look" spin.
Practicing her jumping. . .
and skipping (we have A LOT of work to do on this one!)

Ballet is HARD work! But Lily is definitely dedicated and will be a great ballerina someday! Alexandria will turn out great too! She has been trying (with help from her teacher) all of the steps and seems to be liking ballet more and more with every class we go to!
