I miss the days when I was able to sleep this good! Heck, I miss the days when I was able to sleep at all! Naps, now that is something I would love to go back to! :)

"You Peed on my Telescope!"
Last Sunday Lily and I were in the bathroom getting ready for church. She has a paper towel roll that she uses as a telescope. She put it in the bathroom sink while she brushed her teeth and when she picked it up, she noticed there was a wet spot on it.
Lily: ( thrusting the "telescope" in my face) "Mommy! Did you pee on my telescope?!"
Me: (completely thrown off guard) "What?"
Lily: (looking at me with accusing eyes) "You peed on my telescope!"
Me: (looking at wet spot; trying not to laugh) "No, Lily. It is just water."
Lily: "No, it's not water. You peed on my telescope."
Me: "No, I didn't. It is just water from the sink. I did not pee on your telescope."
Lily: "You pee on it."
Me: "No, I didn't. Maybe Daddy did. Go ask him."
Lily: "No, Daddy not do it. You, Mommy, did it."
Me: (sigh) "Okay. Yes, Lily, I peed on your telescope."
Lily: (smiling) "It's just water, Mommy."
Sometimes, that child. . . .I swear!

I am a CRAZED fan of LOST!!! (no joke)
I am sooo completely, totally, and religiously, OBSESSED with the TV show LOST! I have been anxiously awaiting its return and FINALLY all my crying, pleading and relentless begging has been heard and answered! The season premiere of LOST is Wednesday!!!! I can't wait! For those of you who know how I REALLY feel about this show, know that Wednesday evenings are dedicated to hopelessly losing myself in The Island (and Sawyer's eyes:) ) and freaking out at all the new surprises, twists, and turns that come with each episode. I especially become scary with excitement when events and details CLICK with others! It is the best feeling when I realize or figure something out!!! Anyway, I am sorrry (and a little embarrassed, but not really), but I will not be accepting phone calls unless it is of the utmost importance. (I told you I was obsessed.) I can't risk the chance of even missing the slightest detail! It could be the most crucial one to solving the mystery of The Island! I mean it disappeared for goodness sake! How does an island just disapper?!!!! Anywho, I can't wait! I am so totally stoked. Thank you for listening (reading) to my endless, useless, banter. Just be lucky you aren't my husband or my cousin Mandy. They get the worst of it! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Crazy for Balloons!!!
My little Lily girl is always acting silly. She begged me to give her Alexandria's left over party balloons to play with before going to church. She was so excited when I complied. There is just something about balloons that can get a kid to go CrAzY!!! She was running around wildly and bouncing off the walls! Her hair had so much static in it that, by the time we were ready to go, the balloon was stuck to her hair, haha! That girl sure does have a lot of energy. I wish she could give me some :)

Being ONE is Wonderful!!!
Alexandria's first birthday party was such a blast! It was cupcake themed and sooo cute! We had a great turn out with lots of friends and family joining in the big day. 3Alex was sick, and not her whole self (until the cake happened, that is), but she was such a trooper and smiled for everyone. She decided she wasn't interested in opening and presents, so I got the pleasure of doing it (it almost felt like my birthday!) She got a lot of cute things. Thanks to everyone! I made this adorable 3D cupcake shaped cake for Alex ( I was sooo proud of myself.) It was topped with a cherry and everything (it was the first thing she grabbed and popped in her mouth.) At first Alex wasn't too sure about what to do with the cake. She kept sticking her hands in it and squishing it. When she got her first taste of the cake, she dove in face first, literally!!!! She ate almost the whole thing! We all couldn't believe it! Beware of Alex and her dirty hands! It anyone got too close, she smeared chocolate all over your face!

Happy First Birthday Alexandria Eilleen!!!
Happy Birthday Alexandria! I cannot believe you are already ONE! It seriously seems like just yesterday I was lying in that hospital bed thanking the doctor for injecting me with drugs :) (That is such a nice memory.) How quickly this first year has flown by! There are so many wonderful things to say about you, my baby. You really are the sunshine of my life. I can be having the worse day and all I need to do is look at you and all of my troubles melt away. You always have a giggly grin waiting for me whenever I turn around. Your arms are always outstretched, waiting for that first morning hug. Your laughter is constantly heard and fills the house with such warmth (and usually accompanied by loud, excited screams.) You are such a good baby and nothing ever seems to get you down. Even when you are hurt or sick, that beautiful smile that I love so much still shines through. You love everyone and you love to be held and cuddled by everyone. You have a happiness about you that makes everyone who is around you want to be happy too. I love you through and through. I can't even express to you how grateful I am for you; words could never be enough. Sometimes I think you are too good for me and that I don't deserve you.I love everything you are and everything you will grow to be. I see the light of Christ in your eyes and I know that you are meant to do something special. I am so happy and proud to be your Mommy! Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy!
Here are some things that Alex loves at ONE:
*Sucking her thumb (since the womb!)
*To smile.
*Her big sister.
*To take her socks of and walk/crawl around with them hanging out of her mouth.
*To scream just to hear her voice. (I admit I do encourage this! It is too funny!)
*To blow raspberries (especially if someone else does it first.)
*To cuddle with the cat and dog.
*Running not walking. (She is not the most graceful either! :))
*Be held.
*To watch Baby Mozart and Beethoven. (It is a treat for her.)
*To play peek-a-boo with herself or someone else.
*To bite out of excitement.
*Music and dancing.
*Pushing things around.
*Looking at pictures.
*Splashing in the bathtub.
*Getting her picture taken.
*Anything sweet and chocolately.
*Open the toilet lid and play in the water. (Yuck!)
*To Climb, climb, climb.
*To lay your head on my shoulder.
***My wish for you:
First and foremost, I hope you always remember how much your Savior loves you. Secondly, I hope you always remember how much your family loves you. You have the light of Christ in your eyes and I pray that you never lose that. I hope you learn not to take life for granted and to enjoy each day as it is given to you. I hope you love with your whole heart in all things, even though, you take the risk of getting hurt. It is a risk that is worthwhile. Things will not always be easy, but you will always have the Savior and your family to rely on. I remember that the important things in life are those that you cannot put a price tag on. I want you to be strong, giving, loving, forgiving and non-judgemental. I hope that you will be able to stare adversity in the face and prevail. Remember that it is more important to be yourself and a true friend than to be "cool" and popular. Beauty lies within. Always reach past the stars and achieve all that you want. Find someone to marry that will make a great husband and father. Never settle, it is your partner for eternity that you are seeking. Prayer is the key to God, use it often and pour your heart out. He is always listening and cares about your triumphs just as much as your woes. Attitude is everything and as life comes at you harder and faster, I hope that you will always be able to keep that smile that I love so much bright on your face. Smile all the time. That simple thing can brighten anyones day. Above all, LOVE. We are nothing without it. I love you, my baby, and I look forward to watching you grow, learn, and blossom. Life is not easy, but if you follow the Lord, it will be worth it. I love you!

Caged Animal
While visiting Bridget and Ted a couple of weekends ago, Alex kept trying to climb into their dog kennel. We removed her again and again, but she is so stinkin' persistent! So, like any good parent would do, when she climbed in there for the last time, we shut the door and locked her in :) We waited for her to scream to be let out, but, to our surprise, she seemed to enjoy it in there a little too much!
Movie Star!!!
Alex thought it was so funny when I put Lilyana's sunglasses on her. She loved them! I told her she looked like a Movie Star and she started laughing and clapping her hands. She is so silly!!! The photos were so cute so, naturally, I wanted to share. (Her shirt is messy 'cuz mama spoiled her and gave her chocolate! That would also be the reason she is missing her pants and socks :) )
